The
Management information system Department is headed by Manager (MIS) with
supporting software and operational team at Head Quarters and at circle level
and carry out the following tasks
General Tasks
- Maintaining and ensuring standardized operation of the
software received from WAPDA Computer Center , Hqrs,
and Lahore .
- Ensuring standardized and effective operational
environment at Headquarters and at Circle levels.
- Handling the operations of applications in coordination
with various formations of the company.
- Consolidation of all regularly scheduled computerized
Systems.
- Developing and distributing the software for local requirements.

(IS) Department
The Information Systems(IS)
Department, GEPCO was established in September 2002. The sole objective was to
meet Information Technology challenges and to take advantage of future
opportunities in order to ensure company survival in competitive business
environment. The primary responsibility of the IS Department was to develop
Information Sytems that will support managerial decision making along with core
objective of increasing productivity by efficient utilization of available
financial, technical & human resources.
It Directorate Headed by Manager
(MIS) and consists of four Circle offices located at Gujranwala (IT HQ),
Gujrat, Sialkot and Narowal.
